Red face 1989 Knock Sensor

I have a 1989 Chevy Suburban with a 5.7 and when i get into the gas and into passing gear the check engine light will come on. I did the old paperclip test on the OB1 port and the knock sensor code came up.....where is the knock sensor and how do I replace it????

Re: 1989 Knock Sensor

I believe it is located on the passenger side of the block just in front of the starter. Should have one wire to it and then just screw it out.
