spare tire tower

I have a 1999 expedition. The assembly used to secure the spare tower(spare tire tower) is broken. The cable only comes down so far then seems to strip out. Has anyone else had this problem. Is there a way to fix it. If not where can I go to buy a new one. Thanks for the help.

Most junk yards have the spare tire hanger for about 35.00 Don't have to buy a new one. Had the same problem and it's easy to replace.
