2002 Voyager, P0401 and P1494 codes

Found these codes mean EGR Valve and Leak Detection Pump pressure switch.

Would these codes also affect the transmission in anyway?

Seems to problem shift into/outof OD after 30-35 minutes, shut off, let cool and runs ok.

Thinking this is all vacuum related?

Vacuum hose,
My mechanic has owed me a favor for a long time and the other day he went looking for one problem and found another. A Cracked hose about 6" long. He did not say where it came from and did not charge me. I'm thinking to change all rubber hoses at 100,000 (91000) presently.

Have you had any break warping or hub problems? If not get ready because it is coming. Got some good advice when you reply.

I'll bite at your invitation. I have had a small egr leak-trying a new fuel cap first. Where was the cracked hose located? Also I have a load roar from driver side rear wheel over 40 mph. I have a new hub and bearing on order.

Did you read all that happened to my 2002 TC Van? All the work I did for the front end and the hubs?

If you have then you know that this left rear is only the beginning. If you can afford it, go to NAPA (lifetime warranty), replace all 4 and have it over with. Shake each one and if those bearing rattle, well there is no grease left.

If a hub gets too hot you got a great chance of burning up the sensor to the ABS system ($49 each).

The hose that cracked was about 4" long and had a definete 45 degree bend in it. Cracked bad too. Other hose was about 7 inches long (no idea where either came from. One was free the other $65.00 ouch!

If you want to shoot me a regular email go ahead. [email protected].
