98 kia sportage won't start?

ok i have replced the timeing belt and it ran fine for about 6 monthes and then it was running and about an hour later i went outside and it will not start any ideas? oh and someone stole the converter before i replaced the timeing belt i also replaced the spark plug and wire. would running it without converter hurt it any? the plugs have spark and it will crank just not start have checked all the fuses and relays i need help bad only car please someone help

i have been told to check the 2sec fuel pump fuse under the rear right seat but i can't find it even when i opened the panel ideas would be helpful

negative: no fuse there: what was told about that place is to check --since this is an access to the fuel pump module - if you can hear the fuel pump run for about 2 sec when turning the key to ON, at least to comfirm that the fuel pump is OK.
