Getting Fuel pump out of tank
Hi, I have a 95 Safari and was wondering how to get the fuel pump out of the tank. I have gotten the tank out from under the car but can't get the ring off the top of the tank.

Clean the area with compressed air or a vacuum to remove all dirt and loose rust. Soak it with PB Blaster or a similar type of penetrating oil, (WD40 is not a penetrating oil). The lock ring unscrews about 1/4 turn. Might have to use a drift and a hammer to loosen it.
