97 Tahoe Will Not Start Without Starer Fluid????

I have a 97 Tahoe 5.7 vortec, with 154,000 miles. It will not start unless i use starter fluid in the throttle body. Once it starts it runs perfect. I can run it for 2 minutes or 2 hours and its the same problem when i shut it off. I have changed the Dist. cap & rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter. The fuel pump turns on when the key is in the on position. I have tried fuel injector cleaners, fuel system cleaners, new air filter. Anyone have any idea's???

How do i check for fuel pressure?? And where do i check it??

Welcome to AF, everything but check the fuel pressure when the key is turned on, need 60-65 psi, basic diagnostics.
