Driving to Baja, would like some tire recomendations

As the title says. No less than 50% of my driving will be on highway. But I do want to be able to drive down that dirt road, on the beach, or over that river.

TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH is the name of the game here. I'm planning on being in some remote areas, and yes even with a full size spair, a compressor and other stuff, I still want to be confident in my tires.

So basically a good highway tire, that will still let me have some adventure off road and wont leave me worried if its going to pop.

I know the BFGoodrich T/A Ko is a good choice, but I'd like to see if there is anything else that might be better. I just have a feeling that tire might be a little overkill in the aggresiveness for my needs, but thats just going by how it looks.

It's not for certain, but probably buying my neighbours 94? (somewhere around there) F150 4x4. It has stock 15inch rims, not too sure about the size tho. But can't I work around different sizes or does it have to be the exact size as the stock?

The Stock Tire size is 235/75R15

You can change the size, but it would throw off the speedometer.

If you're going to stick with the stock size I think the Yokohama Geolander AT+ should offer you a good combination of on and off-road performance and is reasonably priced. http://www.victoriatire.com/tires.ht...der%20AT%20%2B

Ok thanks for the suggestions! I know the BF's will be good, especially with their 6ply tread and 3ply sidewall, will be confident for sure.
Just wondering about those Bridgestone Revo's tho.....http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey....jsp?type=ORAT has them rated pretty good. Dont know how many ply they are tho.
Has anyone compared them to the BF T/A KO's??
