2003 Alero Driver window

the driver window won't go down anymore. i got power windows...when i move the button it doesnt even make a sound...is it the motor or maybe a wire got lose or something/

Check the circuit breaker in the pass side fuse box.
If that is OK then you might try checking the wires to the buttons on the drivers side door. The connector can get corroded and not always make proper connection.

Also try wiggling it side to side, might be something under the button.... If that all fails you might check this link below.

I have used the website above and found it helpful. I have two GM products, one a 2001 Alero and found that that connections, either at the switch or the window lift motor can be poor. By pulling the connection apart and applying an "electric grease" type product I was able to have both function again just fine. Have not had any problems with either since. certainly cheaper that a new motor or switch.
The above website I believe shows how to access the switch and motor too!
