steering wheel vibration

Hey all,

Im still having my steering wheel vibration. I went as far as to get new rims and tires, yet the vibration is still there. I also replaced the rotors and had the wheels and tires balanced on a road force balancer. Is there a problem with the drive shafts? I dont know where else to look. Thanks!

Re: steering wheel vibration

it is a possibility one of the driveshafts is out of balance but unlikely. What speeds does this occur at? All speeds, higher speeds?

Re: steering wheel vibration

Hey,

Its at the higher speeds, above 65 mph. There is no damage of any kind, in fact it has been doing it for a long time...since new. I thought it was just a tire out of balance, or a bent rim, but neither solved the problem.

hello ,
i have good news, well i mean it could be worst.i can tell you for a fact the problem on your car is the tirods (tirod ends).whenever you have minute jack the front of your car ,put one hand on the front of the tire and one on the back and shake your wheel from side to side. if you feel just a little loose it means that is your problem.100% certain!
