Steering Issue!!
Whenever i'm turning and have to turn the wheel all the way it feels like my wheels are bouncing off something and makes kind of a clunking sound. Do you think theres a real issue hear or is it just poor design on Fords part?

Re: Steering Issue!!
What is the vehicle? Year, make, model? Are the tires rubbing anywhere?

Re: Steering Issue!!
Its a 1997 Mustang Cobra. I don't hear anything that sounds like tire rub and my tires don't have any wear spots.

Re: Steering Issue!!
It wouldn't hurt to check ball joints, wheel bearing ect. But if your describing the same thing that my F-150 does then I wouldn't worry about it. Its kind of a quiet "clunk/grind" that is only noticed when going slow and turning all the way. Its just maxed out the travel of the steering components.
