Best Sub For MTX Thunder 702 amp?
I have the MTX 702 amp (210 watts RMS power bridged) and am looking to replace my recently blown cheap-ass 10" sub. I would like to buy an MTX but I don't have to.
The only requirements are that it's ten inches. Any suggestions?

What kind of bass do you want? 200 watts isn't that much power.

Re: Best Sub For MTX Thunder 702 amp?
You're right, it isn't. A meager 72 Decibels (max) is just fine for me.
I'm not one of those people who has to announce to the world that I'm driving through their suburb. I don't listen to rap or metal. (except Sevendust) Usually you can find Ace of Base or Tower of Power in my CD player. Anyway, 200 Watts is plenty for me. I prefer sound quality over SPL or volume. Just because I don't want anyone else to hear my bass doesn't mean that I don't.

I'd just buy an Alpine Type R. Terrific sound quality sub for the price.
