delco anti theft system

I have a cd player in my 88' 6000. If I disconnect the negative battery cable will it lock up my stereo system?

Factory CD? Wow how rare. Any way yeah sometimes it does but not just for a battery replacement, there is a memory of sorts so do it as quick as possible. It is for when someone steals the radio and it is unplugged for a longer time.
