Rear Mount battery = NO CHARGING >:(

ok just finished rear mounting my battery and now it wont correctly charge while the engine is running. my gauges usually dont work after startup either... sometimes they will work if i start it up and quickly give it throttle. i used 2 gauge wire and directly soldered the extended 2 gauge into the positive side where it used to go into the battery up frt. my alternator crap? what else maybe? bad ground? not big enough cable??

should be ok cable, id say check your alternator, check for a short somewhere, wiggle wires and stuff to make sure you dont have a break. as long as your battery is tied down properly, the system should run like normal. 2 guage is ok, it should work just fine.
