Rims, Idle, Fuel System
Im gonna start with the engine trouble on my 85 cougar....when i put it in park or in nuetral...it idles REALLY high...ive had people say it sounded like a jet engine takin off...any suggestions on what it might be (pcv, vaccum seal?)...
next.. im looking to put rims on my car but of course ive got a 4lug bolt pattern and every site i look at all have rims with 5 nd 6 lug patterns...any suggestions on websites to look at? ...and my fuel system....sometime when i hit the accelerator my car likes to hold back power and doesnt pick up anywhere close to where its supposed to...and it wont pick up hardly at until i slam it to the floor ....any suggestions on how to fix that.....

Re: Rims, Idle, Fuel System
The idle problem sounds like the Idle air control (IAC) sometimes called the idle air solenoid.....about $70.00 from 0'Riley......The IAC may also fix the acceleration issue

Re: Rims, Idle, Fuel System
There's plenty of sites that have 4 lug rims, keep in mind that you have the same bolt pattern as 80's and early 90's fox body mustangs.
