keyless entry

I have a 95 grand prix, does anyone know how to program a new keyless entry remote ?

Are you sure your car has factory keyless entry? It was an option back then.

If you're not sure, pm me with the last 8 digits of your VIN # and I can tell you if it came with it or not.

yes I am sure it has keyless , the old transmiter broke, I have a new one now but do not want to pay the dealer $50.00 to program it .

I answered Sam121871 in a PM, but for anyone else reading this, programmiong is as follows:

Get in the trunk and look for a black wire in the passenger side wheel well area that isn't hooked to anything and ground it. You should hear the locks cycle when you do, this shows the reciever is working and in programming mode. Next, hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously until you hear the locks cycle again. Repeat the previous step if you have any more remotes, then unhook your ground wire and your done.
