Door problems 2001 Jimmy
So here I am again with another problem with my Jimmy. It looks as if both the driver and passenger doors are going to need new hinges and pins. And the driver door needs a new door panel. Does anyone know how hard of a job replacing these hinges and pins will be? And is there a good source for a new door panel that won't cost hundreds of dollars like some I've seen? Thanks.

Re: Door problems 2001 Jimmy
the pins and bushings are not as hard as you would think. make sure you get a gm door spring remover tool to keep it that way
. heres a how to one of our members put togehter a while back:http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=476619 as for the door panel, your best bet is going to be a local salvage yard or ebay.
