Honda Civic

So i went and looked at it. The guy installed a new AC compressor but the AC still needs a expansion valve. I saw the part for about thirty bucks and my cousin is AC certified. Also the Power locks do not work, easy fix? They didnt even look connected to anything. Other than that the car was great and now i just have to convince my step dad to buy it.

Re: Honda Civic

Can't say I've had experience with troubleshooting the power locks/windows on these cars... I do know that the door panels are a cinch to remove though, and that would be the first place to start. Just unscrew the bolt on the armrest as well as the one behind the door handle and you can figure out the rest from there. You can find info if you google door panel removal for your specific car and that'd go over the whole process.

The doors were stamped out all the same in the factory, all with the power lock switches intact. The models that didn't have optional power locks still have the switches attached. Kinda lame I know, but it's a small imperfection in an otherwise good car.

Re: Honda Civic

oh, well nevermind then. My car has the power lock switch on the drivers side only, and it was never hooked up to anything, it's just there because they made the doors all from the same mold.

Re: Honda Civic

Okay ladies and gents. This wonderful car is NOT going to be mine. My fucking cheap ass fagget step dad is going to look at the same car, that has FUCKING 160,000 MILES ON IT. I know hondas are realiable, but fuck! I dont want to be replacing parts on it left and right.

Should i tell my step dad that hes fucking stupid(even though he is)

Its a 2dr 98 civic 160,000 supposedly cleaner than the this one.

Pretty much im so pissed

I bet it drives like shit!

************end of rant************
