Too much heat!!
I discovered a problem with my truck while traveling thanksgiving weekend. The mixture is stuck on hot and I tried everything to get cold, when the truck is restarted I get cold but when I go to hot it gets stuck again. Has anybody else had this problem?

Re: Too much heat!!
i had the same problem. it was a actuator that is located around the cabin filter area. another person on the forum described how to fix it and it worked for the rest of last year. it involves taking it apart and greasing it inside.
this year it is doing it again, i might have to replace it this time. maybe somebody out there has the post for you. i hope this helps you. |

Re: Too much heat!!
I believe the part is called a resistor pack. Try searching for that, I know there is a post describing how to replace it as hogster said.
