tork converter clutch

Can any one tell me how to disconect the solonoid on a 1996 cavilere 2.2 3 speed?Is this internal or external trying to trouble shoot on my own . Thanks

Try looking for a wiring harness on the front of the trans, drivers side, it should be easy to see. Just unplug it. The trans will work ok just no lockup.
