nissan quest 2000 resistor for blower motor

I took my quest in to the dealer to have them look at the problem with my resistor to my blower motor getting fried. I replaced it this summer and then it blew again just recently. They told me at the dealer that the blower motor was drawing too many amps. Is this correct?

The next question becomes how hard is it to replace the blower? Due I have to take apart the dash?
