2006 Vue... alignment?
my gf has a 2006 Saturn vue 2WD.. an untrustworthy source said she should get an alignment to increase the tread life on her tires... he said its bc the tires are aligned on a BRAND NEW suspension but now that its been broken in they should get aligned to match the broken in suspension... what do you think???
thanks n00b |

Re: 2006 Vue... alignment?
Not true unless the vehicle has been subjected to rough use over equally rough terrain.

Re: 2006 Vue... alignment?
Well cars tend to go out of alignment by general use as well. However if you dont notice any weird wearing of the tires, or weird handling, then I wouldnt worry aobut it.

Re: 2006 Vue... alignment?
if the tires aren't wearing abnormally, or the steering acting funny, don't worry about it
Its not that bad of an idea as preventive maintanence, since an alignment cost less than buying one tire, and aligment issues will destroy 2 tires at least.....but most cars don't require alignments unless a part fails and/or you damage parts by running into things
