no heat

i have a 92 4runner 4cyl. and im not getting very much heat..replaced the thermostat and rad cap and flushed the heater core..still the same..however i noticed that the rad has a small crack on top where the previous owner had repaired but it is still seeping out antifreeze..the radiator doesnt seem to be holding pressure cause when i remove the cap when its hot there is no pssft noise..nothing ...could this be why im not getting heat...temp gauge is normal..about half way...any help would be appeciatted

Re: no heat

I'm thinking you still should have coolant flowing thru the htr core. Maybe an air pocket is blocking the flow.
