Re: aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had about 1/4" of ice on everything last night, but no snow. The roads were so much fun! lol... Tis a shame so many idiots live in this stuff but don't know how to drive in it properly.

Surprisingly enough, this Cobalt of mine doesn't have anti-lock brakes on it. I was so happy to learn that though. Anti-lock brakes are about the stupidest thing ever...

IMO, I can control it better if it were to start sliding because of the brakes locking up. Whereas the anti-lock brakes would be going on and off a million times and I wouldn't be able to keep control of a slide... That's just how I feel about it though. I suppose people who don't know how to use their brakes properly in the snow and ice can benefit from them...

I donno, I just didn't like how they are in other vehicles I've driven. I learned how to drive in the snow and ice without anti-lock brakes in a RWD car. So I guess maybe I just don't like change like that. Who knows. lol...

Re: aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what my car looked like this morning, but replace the snow with a 1/8" sheet of ice. Spent 10 min scrapping it off with, then had to drive through slush, which actually wasn't too bad.

I actually wich we got dumped with a foot so I wouldn't even have to bother with it and not have to go to the 8am class im still in.

I'm inclined to think anything that makes my automotive insurance cheaper is a damn good idea!

Living in florida I've never driven in snow with ABS or without it, so I don't know about that but for regular driving I prefer to have them.

Oh there is nothing wrong with that at all. But what the insurance company doesn't know, doesn't hurt them. According to the VIN number, my Talon has anti-lock brakes... Or does it?...

Not anymore...
