S10 4 wheel drive won't work

Hi again, posted earlier about the headlight being dim on my S10 after hitting a deer--well now my 4- wheel drive doesn't work. The button lights up but doesn't engage. Any one with ideas on how or what to fix on it. Need it now with all the snow.

Re: S10 4 wheel drive won't work

Depending on the year there is a vacuum controller on the front passenger side, under the battery. Has a couple vacuum hoses and a cable that goes back to the Xfer case. After hitting the deer maybe something jarred loose?
