Lightbulb aftermarket stereo install static

ok i just had an pioneer cd player installed wednesday and right off the bat there was a constant static sound in the left driver speaker. the radio was used so i though i was ripped off so i got the shop to put in a new one in saturday.... the sound is steel there, so it wasn't the radio. the installer explained to me that the static was because my radio controlled the chimes that went off when the door is open/key is in the ignition. it kind of made sense cause its only the driver door...so did anyone ever have this problem? I dont really care about upgrading this car i just wanted a front aux input so i could have my music collection instead of cd's and possible xm/sirus. is there any way to cut the sound its not too bad i just want to disable it. does it have anything to do with the fact that i have factory speakers?
