Hyundai or Mitsubishi ?

Ok so I seen a motor yesterday that looked like the 4G63 but the valve cover says (pic) and was wondering if they are the same motor or does hyundai have their own verson the of the head matched to the mitsu. block ?

G4CS sonata block FTW! If the block I have now is no good, I'm going with a real 2.4 stroker.

Well I was talking to him about it and it runs apparently. Same guy I got my free 420A motor from so if you are interested , I'll see how much he wants for it and I can get it to you for a reasonable price as we get 50% off UPS / 80% off at Conway freight at my work.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

Its out of the car it was originally in and now sitting in his shop. Not sure on bolt , i'll check casting numbers when I head out tomorrow.
