18) Blinking Or Flashing Banner Ads: Most people don't mind banner ads because they're generally not obtrusive. But flashing banner ads grind on everyones nerves. Keep the neon signs in Vegas and spare the net these blinding annoyances.

10) Pop-Ups: Two years ago pop-ups were the most annoying type of ad out there but now they're just one of the pack. But while the pop-up has been around for a while, it's still deserves to be ranked. Especially the pop-ups that open another pop-up when you close it, which in turn opens another pop-up when you close it, etc, etc, until your browser crashes or someone teaches you how to use the Ctrl/W key to close pop-ups quickly.

Well...Almost everything that I hate about the web,anyway.

The one that I'd like to add is the sorry individual who thinks that forums are for showing what a man you are,how tough you are how untouchable you are....the self-styled 'e-thug' who is under the delusion that because he can shout loud enough on a site,and generally be a pain in the ass,he is somehow more of a man than before[and it usually is the guys].

This bizarre and irrational thought process general matures out once the offender gets a real life,with a real job,but occasionally,a complete loser will get access to a computer and abuse it way beyond the point of being acceptable.The sad thing is though,away from the keyboard,they are still nobodies,and it reflects in their increasingly desperate demands for respect as they troll and flame their way across the net.

These peopleare to be pitied,but not tolerated.After all,if they walked into your favourite bar,or club,or hamburger joint,they'd be put smartly in their place,their place being outside on the pavement.

E-thugs are simply raging against an anonymous machine because they lack the strength and intelligence to stand up and deal with the real issues in their lives that are making them angry.It's sad really,but still totally unacceptable.

Actually, I know exactly what you are talking about. They try to gain respect by generally being a pain in the ass.
