Pulling a dent out

Ok, long story but I have a dent in the passenger side fender of my 99 Ram. It's about 6 inches by 3 inches. I have decided to try to pull the dent out myself, and would appreciate any recomendations on tools or tips on doing this. I know there are many methods out there so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Pulling a dent out

Well you could try a toilet plunger. But if you have stretched metal or creases that option is out right away. Your best bet will be to take a drill and drill small holes in the area of the dent. Then you can use a spot welder to attach some small weld sticks and hook that to a slide hammer. Slide the hammer towards you till you get the dent out most of the way. After that...sanding and some bondo should do you alright. Hope that helps. Good luck.
