1999 Rear end help please

I'm on line trying find a rebuild kit for the rear in my 99 and can only find 98 and down for the ring and pinion. does anyone know if the 98 setup will work or not. thanks

Yes the 98 will work.

All you need to know for the ring an pinion is your gear ratio (5.54, 3.73 etc.) and what axle - it is probably a DANA 35.

i am getting a 35 kit for a 98 dana 35 and going from a 3.55 to a 3.73 and all the bearings and what not from four wheel supply so i was nervous but if it fits i'll be happy
