Help with cargo door 2001 Suburban
I am getting a cargo door ajar warning in my message center and its causing my driver side door not to lock and interior lights to stay on. This condition also causes my rear wiper not to function either. The cargo door closes. I looked at the sensors and they seem fine but I wouldn't know what to look for if they were bad. I would like to fix myself. Especially when the dealership said that it might be $300 job at the least to fix. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Help with cargo door 2001 Suburban
try unpluging the switch(es). If that doesn't turn the light off, try jumping the switch terminals. Can't say with certainty if the switches are normally open or closed, so try both.
