Clio no headlights

My wifes N reg clio car's main beam headlights do not work.The smaller bulb is fine but the main halogen bulbs on both front lamps do not light. I have tested all relevant fuses and have also put a multi-meter on the connector that goes onto the lamp and it reads virtually zero.All the other lights work fine.any ideas?I have tried a new halogen and it doesn't light either so I suspect the fault lies deeper.

I suspect it must be a faulty relay but where is it as I don't have a repair manual.

Turned out to be the switch! Got a replacement from a scrappy for £15.00 and hey presto!!lights workin again.
