Hi,
I just replaced the battery on my 02 Venture and noticed there's a single spade plug protruding from the wire loom connecting to that box above the battery. I'm wondering if that should've been connected to something but I can't find what or where it should be connected to. I don't remember removing that plug when replacing the battery. Is it for an option my van does not have or is it supposed to be connected to something? I'll try and take some pics this weekend and post it........are we even allowed to post pics on this site? Thanks Darren. |

Re: What's this plug connector for???? 02 Venture
You sure can post pics here. It helps to diagnose issues and helps others. On some vehicles there is a setup like what you describe. I haven't seen one like that on my Venture, but my '90 LeSabre had something like you describe, and it is for diagnostic purposes, to be used by a mechanic/technician.

You are talking about the red wire that hooks to the stud? It may power the fuse box and can be used for jumpstarting. MINE HAS a red boot over it.
