2000 Ford taurus 3.0 SOHC Water Pump
My water pump is leaking how big of a job is it to do it myself. Anyone have directions on how to change it?

It is an OHV vulcan Pushrod motor
The Duratec is a DOHC 24V engine. The water pump will take you about two hours if you haven't done it before and is very straight forward. Take your Degasser tank off to give you some room to work. Mike

If it is the Vulcan engine, (U) is not difficult. The hardest part is cleaning the old gasket off the engine block. Be sure you have enough patience before you start. I bought a lifetime pump from Pep Boys.
