Overheating

ok just so you know idk anything about cars but need to learn. well my corsica used to overheat all the time for about a year we changed everything then it quite for a while (about a year) and overheated really bad so we replaced the one thing we hadn't the hoses ( the person that i got it from did do good maintanice on it) then it was fine this was in the spring and 2 weeks ago it overheated again but i had my dad look at it and he said i just slapshed water on my engine but today it just started pouring out antifreeze but the temp didn't go up any ideas?? i was told it might be a warped head thankyou ahead of time.
