help me out here

first off, i'm a complete idiot when it comes to car audio, so i don't know what i'm doing really. But i want to put a good system in my firebird. i want good sound quality, but if i fell like it, i want the car next to me to hear my music too. So basically, i need u guys to help me if possible to pick out what i need with my budget without having to modify my car, except possibly for the sub
i'll probably get around 5-9 hundred worth of stuff
i wanna get a new head unit (iPod compatable, but i don't need Blue Tooth), 2 speakers, 1 sub, and whatever amp/s i need
in case you need the car, i've got a 1999 firebird 2 door coupe, with stock everything

Re: help me out here

first of all the stock slot speakers are 6.75" for all four slots, and single din heade unit slot and there are custom fit boxes for this car's hatch area. This is the package built for quality and for about 500 that will KICK for your car. This is the dirrect quote from sonicelectronix.com then you would look at about 200 for all of this to be pro installed. Good luck and welcome to the forrum comunity!

Sub:
http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/s...&productId=165

Amp for sub
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...nder+5601.html

Front Stage:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...s+QX6500C.html 6.5 should fit 6.75 i have 6.75 opening and 6.5 fit.

Amp for Front Stage.
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...nder+8502.html

u really dont need rear speakers in that small of a car because the sub is going to block out most of it.

it is kinda of hard to fit the head unit in. without scarficing to much.. but a new DEH-P680MP is only 150 and that is a nice head unit.
