2K4 Max

Just saw the 2K4 Max on the Nissan website. Kinda looks like a stretched out Altima and kinda like the back of the Z. I've had 3 Maximas so far, 88 GXE, 96 SE, and 2K1 AE. I've always loved Maximas, but this one I dont know about. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, i just checked it out, too. That thing, whatever it is, should not, and does not deserve to be called a Maxima. It's hideous.

You need to see it with a widebody kit on it, I think it looks tight, someone did a photoshop of it with a kit and I like it. I copied the pic but I'm not that savvy with a computer to post the link to the pick from my files to this thread, otherwise I'd attach it in this reply.

I think it looks so tight that I made it my screensaver, although the one that is photoshopped I would give it a classier chrome rim with 19"s and tint the windows to help bring it all out.

If one of you computer savvy folks could HBO this means Helpa Brotha Out in ebonics then I could post the pic on this thread.
Anyway I think if you saw it like this you would change your mind about the new 6gen max.

Well, even if the body kit does make it look phat, I still have to look at them rolling around stock all the time, which is gonna suck. It should look good straight out of the box, it's a Maxima after all!!!

Has anyone noticed that things like this are happening to all the car manufacturers.

theres a real lack of inginuity and originality in all the new cars.

i think that it look really good except for the rear end. its too round. if it had a little bit more edge, it would stand out more and make it look so much better.

Yeah, i guess it looks pretty cool with that body kit, reminds me of a GS...still though, the overall shape doesn't say Maxima to me, and that's bothersome.

I know what you and un4gvn mean, but I know that I would take one if somebody gave it to me, anyway, I had another pic of a 2k4 Max with a different kit on it (photoshopped too) and it still had some of the previous Max's flava in it.
When I find it again (my dumb @$$ accidentally deleted it) I will post it for you and all the forum members.

Maximus, I wish I could take the credit for the photoshop but unfortunately I'm not that good. Maybe if I get the photoshop program and play with it for a lil while I'll get good at.

Peep the other one that is attached on the other post I made, this is the one I'd take but like I said, "I'd put some classier rims on it and definitely tint the windows.

Anyway, I wanna hear what you and all the forum members think, maybe we can get NISMO to offer an aftermarket kit like one of these if we generate enough interest.

From the side the car doesn't look bad. But the back is way too round and the front is just staight up ugly. I really hope that they do not release this car.

I agree on the back but I think the front looks tight, just like the Z but that's IMO. Still all n all I think it looks better than it does when it's stock.

I did find some photos of it in burgundy on Freshalloy.com, I think the darker colors on the Max will help it look better. Plus I think the first pic that Nissan released show the Max from a bad angle.

Maybe it's me but it looked like the first pic released the car was sitting on a slight incline from front to rear and it made the car look higher in the front (especially the wheelwell).
