Long time no see

Just dropping in again after a couple years of no posting. I've since, done nothing to the 69 in a long time and bought a 1999 Hugger Orange SS for a daily driver. Pulled the motor and did ported LS6 heads, 230/236TR cam and rod bolts, LS6 intake, Spec 3+ clutch etc etc.. I drag race it occasionally but mainly getting into open road racing. Done it 4 days of the past 2 months and have another day in 2 weeks!

Pics will follow...

William

And both factory Hugger orange. Currently looking for a 70 1/2 Hugger orange car and hopefully the new camaro comes in hugger orange of some type so I can order one of those when ready.

That's an old pic of it, it now has a black manta stripe and black ZR1's.

Re: Long time no see

Yea that pic is old. I like the way it looks MINUS the holes from the factory cover. It's how it was when I bought it. I now have a SLP SS grille waiting to go on, but I want to do it right and not just double sided tape so I'm waiting for time and weather. Also have a CME for it that needs the valence painted

Its about finished for how I want it for now.

Good man, you always, always hold out for good quality roll of duct tape

Alright alright, seriously, not much of a fan of 4th gens overall, but that is nice.

I only got this for a daily really. I liked the fact that I have the first and Last year hugger orange...Now to just get my first gen painted back factory! I wasn't a big fan of the 4th gens till I got one. Something about 400+hp and 25-30mpg is nice!

Re: Long time no see

Here is a little more current photo. I actually bought the grille very shortly before this was taken...I need to get around to doing more mods to my car and less maintenance!

Re: Long time no see

Hard to tell but if you look past my gf's Mustang and my mom's MR2, you can see my old camaro in this photo. I took this on Thanksgiving day this year. Car has been sitting for almost 2 years now (drove it once this year, started right up and drop to and from the machine shop for a part we needed for the stang.
