help - broken vacuum line

today hasnt been a good day. engine light came on, need to replace thermostat. went to the store and the guy gave me one. came home, took everything apart (its -20 outside) and found out the guy gave me the wrong one. go back, get the right one, came home again. putting everything back into place, trying to carefully tighten the screws in at an awkward angle, i snapped a vacuum line. I'm not sure what this line does, or what its called, but it looks very important, and i Need to know how to fix it! I took a picture of what it is. (being me, i tried putting superglue around the crack, but it doesnt look like superglue works at -20.

Re: help - broken vacuum line

update: i found out it has something to do with the fuel system. anyways. I went to canadian tire and they said I would have to goto a GM dealer for the piece. I used some epoxy on it and it dried a little, and it seems it will hold but its just a temporary fix. Does anyone know where i can get this piece from?

Re: help - broken vacuum line

The vacuum line on the right goes to the evaporative emissions purge solenoid. The smaller line on the left goes to the fuel pressure regulator. Any vacuum line should be repaired properly or replaced as soon as possible.
