regulator install need all the help

i just bought a new replacement regulator for my passenger front door.
i took the panel off and all that goond stuff, but how do i get the rivets out of the door to so i can get the old regulator out

punch the centers out with a punch and hammer or an old phillips head screwdriver you dont care about and then drill em. get new rivets OR use 1\4x20x1\2 nuts and bolts. i have already done this with my GM and it works real nice!
