Jeep Commando

Havn't done much to this so far. Just small lift and some new tires. The kit came with stock and an off road setup. 2 sets of tires and many options.

Stance

Color is hunter green. Which turned out almost black.

Re: Jeep Commando

cool build, are you goin to put a roll cage on it at all? it would look killer if you boxed out the cab area then brought straight bars to the back fender corners and maybe X braced them, with maybe a big spare somewhere in there. lol
did those tires and rims come with the kit?

When you painted that did you prime it at all first? It looks like you either sprayed it too close or too heavy, probly the latter because its all built up around in the corners and still thin on the high edges. next time try a couple mist coats to get the color on it then do a couple wet coats after
keep the progress comin.

Re: Jeep Commando

Looks good man, that kit is pretty detailed looking to...I've been considering getting one of those...how do the kit tires look compared to the new tires your using?

Re: Jeep Commando

Here is a comparison shot.

The 2 tires that came with the kit are on the right.

Re: Jeep Commando

I'm trying to finish this one pretty quick so i can get my next project on the way.

The interior is finished and so is the chasis. Only a few minor things left to finish such as the bumpers and tailgate, might put a top over the cab, haven't decided yet.
