Jimmy making very strange loud noise at idle

1996 jimmy 2 door strange clanging sound
I have a 1996 jimmy and all of a sudden today it sounds like there is a piece of metal clanging somewhere when I accelerate,I mean at low rpm its really loud but at higher rpms its quieter and when I accelerate fast its lound I'm totally clueless, I got under it tonight with a lightbar and had itrunning and could hear it clanging but don't know what it is, was thinking it might be the starter staying out too long but can't be sure please help me

There is no way to help you with this, any number of things can cause this, someone has to directly listen to this to pinpoint the source, sorry. Anything from us is guess work and may send you on a wild goose chase.
