93 Lebaron Check Gage Light Comes On, All Gages Fine
I have a 1993 LeBaron Convertible 3.0 liter. All the gages, ie. alternator, oil pressure, and coolant temp are fine, the coolant temp is a little low, not near hot, barely off of "C". Any help???

Re: 93 Lebaron Check Gage Light Comes On, All Gages Fine
Probably trying to tell you the temp is too low after a certain period of time. It looks as if you need a new thermostat to get the engine into proper operating temperature. You don't want it to run too cold as the fuel mix will stay too rich, and will cause soot buildup, possibly clog the cat, and your fuel mileage will be poor. The engine needs to be around 195 deg to run efficiently. Also with a constant rich fuel mix you run a risk of diluting your oil.
