Re: transmission Question

I'd investigate whether your shifter is even shifting the transmission into the gears, has it come loose or something hoping it's that and not worse. Does it shift differently. Someone else would have to describe on that vehicle where and what the shifter attaches to at the trans. What I am familiar with is a cable that goes to the top of the trans to a lever. Good luck

Re: transmission Question

I would take it to a transmission shop and have the codes read on a correct reader.

The standard OBDII reader will not cover all codes.
The pump is inside the tranny and the transmission has to come out for any inspection/work to be done on it.
