whats the best way to get a good finish from painting large areas with a brush? i cant afford an air-brush or to be buying lots of spray cans. im using humbrol enamel paints. i know you cant do this with acrylic paints because they go streaky but the enamels seem to look patchy, uneven or slightly streaky.
b.t.w - i buy cans for car bodys but i also have other models. |

There's a good article on the Finescale Modeler website on brush painting techniques.
http://www.finescale.com/fsm/pdf/bas...shpainting.pdf Hope this helps. |

One of the most important things i do when doing large areas by brush is to warm the paint up under hot water as the paint flows better when warmer
