97 cavalier wire harness

well.. when i got my car i noticed the stock wire harness was chopped off.. and a power wire coming from the fuse box was left.. looking threw the rest of my wires i didn't come across a wire to use as my on/off power wire.. and the only way i can make this work is to use both wires on the constent power wire from the fuse box.... which i don't wanna do... cuz i'll forget to shut my cd player off and then i'll be F*****... anyways... my question is this... is there any way i can replace to wire harness?... like .. take this one out and put a stock one with the stock end clip back in?...that way i don't have to run a power wire from the fuse box?.... any help.. or even a site where i gotta read 20 pages to understand how to do this.. would be a great help.... thx

Re: 97 cavalier wire harness

Junkyard? Or you could just get an aftermarket wire harness then hard wire it to the cars wires.

Re: 97 cavalier wire harness

why do idiots do that .... ?

if you can find the exact car at the junkyard, cut the harness off with as much as you can (at least 6"), then just match wire colors.
