Re: Stage 1 ECU

You would be able to tell by what it said on the front of the pcm. Another thing you can do...killing two birds with one stone...run a catless exhaust and see if your cel turns on. Youll:
A) Have a nice new exhaust
B) Know if you have s1

Re: Stage 1 ECU

so if my check engine light comes on with the catless downpipe its not stage 1 because I have a catless downpipe and the check engine light comes on because of it

Re: Stage 1 ECU

I have a question about the Mopar stage 1 also ok i have a GT3076R turbo kit and 750cc injectors. Im using the AFC fuel controller but at about 2500 or 3000 RPM's the gas basically goes out but comes back right past 3000 rpms. Right now im on the stock ecu. Would the stage one ecu stop that.

Re: Stage 1 ECU

No, the stage 0 pcm is usually considered better timing wise when it comes to big turbos. What exactly do you mean when you say the gas goes out but comes back in?

When was the last time that you changed your plugs and wires? I used to have problems with my dtec and it was due to crappy wiring. Do you have a wideband so you can actually see what's happening rather than just feel it? This is why I never let people mess with my car...I self tune!

Re: Stage 1 ECU

Yea well i have the AEM air/fuel wideband and safc neo 2 but i think we figured it out were gonna take the safc out and we ordered the SCT handheld tuner so we can just basically reflash the ecu and redo the whole computer.
