97 jeep grand cherokee 4x4 right ft. axle housing

I have a 97 Jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4. I hit a rock and blew a front tire. since then i had a rubbing sound. I have tried about everything and I feel my last resort is to change the axle housing. I see where the axle has rub marks on it. Where do i find the gear ratio to make sure it is exact. Also anyother suggestions? I haven't been driving it since this started.
