stripped screw on supercharger

Hello,

I attempted to change the supercharger oil today on my 2002 grandprix, but I had no luck. The screw was stripped and I just couldn't get it off. I was thinking of purchasing some screw exractors to give it a shot, but I was worried about aggravating the problem more. Any suggestions or thoughts as to if this would be a good idea or not?

Thanks for your time.

Re: stripped screw on supercharger

A screw extractor should work if it is truly beyond hope. Are you certain you have the correct size allen wrench on the screw if you have the wrong one you will not be able to get it out. If all else fails you may have to cut a slot with a dremel tool and use a straight blade screwdriver to get it out. Don't forget to purchase a replacement.
