2000 Taurus Wagon not starting
I have a 2000 Taurus wagon that is not starting. When you turn the key, the engine makes a series of clicking sounds but does not turn over. I thought it was the starter, as it has been starting hard lately, so I replaced it last night but it did not solve the problem. Any ideas?

Re: 2000 Taurus Wagon not starting
Sounds like a weak battery or a dirty/loose battery cable. If this is the original battery to the car, it's a couple years overdue anyway.
A series of clicks usually indicates a voltage or current issue to the starter. A single click would often indicate a problem with the starter. -Rod |
