Coolant level please help

Please help,

On my friends Catera. (1997?)

Is there a 'low coolant' level warning light or anything to indicate the level of coolant.

Two quarts of coolant had to be added to bring it up to the mark on the reservoir, it had not leaked into the oil.

Thank you,
isnibs

Re: Coolant level please help

I too have been losing coolant. There is a pressure relief valve down by the bottom of the radiator, driver's side. check to see if yu are losing coolant through that valve. Mine leaks a little every time I shut the car off.
